School Supplies and Backpack Drive

Hey RedArrow,
Today the Mission & Serve team unrolled a summer project. They are collecting donations and school supplies in order to hand out to families in August.
Wednesday, August 12, from 5:00-7:00, we will host a Free Family Event and Dinner for our community as well as have backpacks of school supplies for families to grab. More details to come. Mark your calendars to volunteer that night.

Food Drive for Eleanor's Pantry
Help us fight food insecurity
Every August, RedArrow Ministries has a two day food drive at Family Fare in Paw Paw. As kids are home for the summer, the pantry needs the extra help keeping their shelves stocked.
Volunteers sign up for a time slot or two. Roles for volunteers are handing out prefered shopping lists, sorting donations, and delivering donations to the pantry.

Pride for Parents
Help provide Christmas gifts for local families
"Pride for Parents" Christmas Tree: Each Christmas season, RedArrow Ministries helps families in our community. Each tag represents a present for a child in our community. If you would like to help, stop by RedArrow Ministries and grab a tag or two (or five).
Our program is called Pride for Parents instead of Adopt a Family because parents request specific items that they are hoping to be able to give to their kids. We get the presents to the parents unwrapped so that they can wrap them and make sure their children know that the gifts are coming from them. RedArrow Ministries tries to stay as anonymous as possible.

Spring Break Serve Trip
An intergenerational servive project
Each year RedArrow Ministries sends a group of 40-50 people to serve an area that is struggling. In 2026, we will be going to Cary, MS again. We will serve through Cary Christian Center, and we will do some construction projects and more. This trip is for High School Students and Adults.

Kid's Hope USA
Walking together in one-on-one mentoring relationships
For children, elementary and middle school years are critical for their development, as they form values, establish self-esteem, and acquire academic skills. Often this includes having support, encouragement, and one-on-one attention.
Through a Kids Hope USA mentoring program, students develop transformative relationships with an additional caring and consistent adult, empowering them to thrive.
Through Kid's Hope USA, RedArrow Ministries provides mentors within Paw Paw Public Schools. RedArrow's volunteers meet with students once a week and develop a one-on-one mentoring relationship. And those relationships matter.

Van Buren CROP HUNGER Walk
Help us fight food insecurity locally and beyond
No one in this world should be hungry. That's why the CROP Hunger Walk is more than just a gathering of people in a place. We're part of a movement, taking steps and raising funds together to provide meals for those in our own community who need them - and supporting programs that create greater food security in communities all around the world.

Team World Vision
Providing clean water around the world
RedArrow Ministries wants to serve locally and globally. One of our global efforts is through Team World Vision. TWV raises money through walks and marathons. Just $50 provides clean water for one person. RedArrow Ministries is proud to partner with such a great organization.
